We would like to take a moment to recognize one our amazing ambassadors for her work to help wheelchair users in Florida.
Earlier this month, Sylvia helped create an amendment to a bill to protect wheelchair users from getting their vehicle towed for using two regular parking spaces when all accessible spots are taken. She testified to the state Commerce Committee about her own experience of getting her wheelchair accessible van towed for using two regular spots, despite her "disabled veteran" license plate and all the accessible parking spots being taken.
We are so proud of Sylvia and the work she is doing to help make her state more accessible.
